Print Information
My print editions are limited 350 of each size print. I will only print these 2 sizes. Therefore, these prints should retain their value over time if they are well cared for.
Packaging:
Small prints are packaged in acid free rice paper folders with acid free tissue paper.
Large prints are wrapped in acid free glassine and shipped in a 4 inch diameter poster roll.
Certificate of Authenticity:
All prints come with a certificate of authenticity that is stamped with my logo stamp. It is not acid free, so do not let it touch the artwork when you frame or store it. The acid free tissue paper or glassine paper that comes with your print can be used to protect the artwork from the certificate when you store or frame your print.
Framing:
Prints are not a standard size but custom frames can be purchased for a reasonable price at www.framedestination.com. They give you the option to create a custom frame for your print at a very reasonable price. I like to use the black metal Nielsen Profile 95 frames with a white acid free mat and backing and a glass pane.
Large Print Framing Suggestions: Measure the size of the image exactly, add 1whole inch to the length and width. This is the size of the inner window. Enter these numbers into the “artwork size” fields (this will give you a ½ inch boarder all the way around the image so that the number, title, and signature will stay visible.). Make the “artwork overlap” zero. Choose “Mat Size” and select approximately 2.5 - 3 inches for both dimensions. Choose the other elements for your frame. Glass is the least expensive option for the picture pane – Select a UV Filter Glass/Acrylic if you don't mind spending a little more to protect the print. Large print frames will be around $100. Make sure to use Acid Free Tape to affix your print to the mat. It can be purchased at art stores.
